Sri Rama

Rama is the 7th avatar of Vishnu. Lord Rama is one of the most commonly adored gods of the Hindus. Rama is the hero of the Ramayana, which is a story of a war that was caused by the abduction of Lord Ram's wife, Sita. He is always holding a bow and arrow indicating his readiness to destroy all evils. More commonly he is pictured in a family style, (Ram Parivar) with his wife Sita, brother Lakshmana and devotee Hanumana who is sitting near Lord Rama's feet.
