Check the news board often for new info posted by the officers and other members. Check the comments board to get a look at some of the great new ideas floating around the BMES. And don't be afraid to post your own ideas as well! Move your cursor to the action you wish to perform below, and then choose the board you wish to access.
-BBS Quick Instructions and Access Requirements-
In order to post a message to either board, you must have a valid UIC netid and be a current member of the UIC BMES (or a member of the BioE faculty). You will be prompted for your netid via the Bluestem system. You only need to verify through Bluestem once per browser session.
Please be aware that your netid is verified and recorded when you post a message. This is done only to prevent abuse of the system. Inappropriate postings will not be tolerated. If you are identified as having made obscene, offensive, misidentified, or otherwise inappropriate postings, your access to the BBS system will be restricted immediately.
If you are unable to access the message posting system through Bluestem and you think that you should have permission, please contact the webmaster via the link at the bottom of this page. It is possible that your name was left out of the BMES permission list or that you just haven't been officially added yet.
No special access is necessary to view postings on either
of the boards. They are both visible to the public. Please keep this in
mind when posting a message.
