| President | Vanessa Gonzalez is a senior at UIC and a Kinesiology major. She is currently active on campus through many other student organizations and research projects. She enjoys making people laugh and spending time with Hunter, her 4 year old yellow Labrador. Vanessa's goal is to attain an combined M.D./Ph.D degree in order to better assess the science of illnesses present in minority communities. As of now, she is leaning towards being a Nephrologist, because in her opinion, kidneys get no love for doing some of the body's most important functions. |

| Vice President | Sara is the Vice President of the Health Oriented Latino Association and is a junior majoring in political science (pre-medical). She is involved in Undergraduate Student Government (USG) as an assembly member, a is part of UIC Senate as a student senator and an English tutor for the Confederation of Latin American Students (CLAS).
Along with that she is a second year Medicina Scholar in the Hispanic Center of Excellence in Medicine Program. Sara is interested in becoming a neurologist. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her little sisters.

| Director of Publicity | Lupe Chavez is an enthusiastic young lady with an abiding love for all of earths creatures. That's why she's a biology premed hoping to pursue the field of pediatrics. Her love of arts and crafts stops no shorter than her position as a Director of Publicity. She is very actively involved in the HCOE's Medicina Scholars program, as well as her education, 15 years in the making. In her spare time, she enjoys thinking deeply, sharing a few laughs, and singing and dancing along an amped up background of folk rock. |
