Membership Requirements

Black Student Union membership is open to all UIC students, faculty and staff. In addition Black Student Union membership is open to non-UIC affiliated community members who are interested in the recruitment, retention, and graduating of students of African descent and/or the further development of the Black community. All members are expected to adhere to the membership requirements that are listed below.

While all BSU meetings are programs are open to the UIC and non-UIC community, failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in inactive status. Once a member is declared inactive they may not be entitled to all of the benefits of active members.
